Ayr Test Routes
With the advent of the new driving test in October 2010, changes had to be made to the test routes to incorporate Independent Driving and, with these changes, the DSA decided no longer to publish test routes. In Ayr, this coincided with the opening of the new Test Centre so the new routes are quite substantially different.
With the experience of a few month's of tests, I have a good knowledge of the new routes (although they are still subject to change and refinement). That said, it would not be appropriate to publish these against the wishes of the DSA.
However, the previous routes are still useful as examples of what to expect and many have large sections which are identical to the new routes. Anyhow, I am continuing to make these available here as an aid to private practice which can help you gauge your ability on routes which are of test standard.
